Robotics is designed to specifically encourage students to think critically, synthesise information and sharpen their teamwork and communication skills.
At Swamy’s School, all students are given the opportunity to learn robotics, and interested students are encouraged to build on this foundation by participating in our “Robotics Fest” conducted every year. The Projects displayed were – Black Line following Robot, Solar Tracking, Mobile control, TV Remote control robot, Sumo Robot, Soccer Robot, Edge avoiding Robot and Obstacle avoiding Robots. Students have embraced the program with an eagerness to explore, an openness to feedback, and a wonderful ownership of their accomplishments. They are well on their way to becoming the next generation of innovators, inventors, and leaders.
All participants were awarded certificates, as a token of appreciation.

Annual Sports Day of Swamy’s Matriculation Higher Secondary School was held on Saturday the 2nd of February 2019, with great zeal, excitement and a frolicsome atmosphere. The programme began with the Principal welcoming the esteemed gathering and emphasising the importance of sports in a child's life. The Chief Guest, Mr. Sivakumar Rajendran, Tamilnadu and County Cricketer, Chairman of Tamilnadu Badminton Super League, took the salute at the impressive March Past of the students, with stirring marching music by the school band.
The students entered the spirit of the occasion in a grand way with various drills and events. They presented a Karate display, mesmerising the audience with their energetic performances. Then the much-awaited Pyramid formation by the students kept the audience enthralled.
At the end of the day, students departed with a clear smile on their faces, and a feeling of achievement on a day well worth remembering.

Students of Swamy’s Group of Schools celebrated India’s 70th Republic Day with great reverence. The children showcased different cultural programmes which included speeches, patriotic songs, skits and dance in allegiance to the brave freedom fighters who laid their lives for the motherland.

Pongal, the most popular harvest festival of South India was celebrated with a lot of joy, energy, and enthusiasm by the students of Swamy’s Group of Schools. The Thanksgiving festival of Pongal involved merriments with music, dance, and drama to commemorate the beginning of harvesting crops in the fields.
A grand colorful and vibrant display of music, dance and drama was showcased by the students at the Annual Day held on 22nd October 2018.
Mrs. B.K.K Pillai, Founder, Chairman & Correspondent of Vailankanni Group of Schools graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

Fire prevention is everybody's job. Safety can distinguish you. Lack of safety can extinguish you. As part of safety measure, a two-day Fire and Safety training workshop was held at Swamy’s Group of Schools. The entire workshop was very informative along with practical training on fire and safety.

The greatest wealth is health!
A health talk on the balanced diet, nutrition and the digestive system was organized at Swamy’s School. The science team from Yakult Danone India Pvt. Limited conducted the health talk focusing on the importance of the intestinal microbiota, its influence on health and the concept of probiotics. The session was made interesting and fascinating with the demonstrations of digestive system models, presentations and films.

Swamy’s School is passionate about the environment and proactive in its approach in ensuring a greener tomorrow. Inspired by the desire for a green earth and to meet the challenge of climate change, a tree planting activity was carried out in the school premises. Young students enthusiastically participated in the activity. Smiles on their faces express the happiness within.
Former India captains Mr.C.V Sunny ,Ms. Meena Latha and their team educated the students about the fundamentals of Basketball. Students from grades 3 to 12 participated and hands-on experience in dribbling, passing the ball and shooting were given.

The Investiture Ceremony of Swamy’s School for the academic session 2018-2019 was held in a special ceremony at Muthuswamy Auditorium on 30th June. The event was presided by Mrs. Gayathri Girish, Administrator, Swamy’s school. The occasion was made significant by the thunderous march drill by the student music band. The newly invested leaders took charge from the outgoing office bearers. Donning the mantle of accountability, they took pledge to bestow their duties to the best of their abilities. They were conferred with badges and flags. The leaders were elected by the students by following the paper ballot system. Master Ranjith Kumar. M and Miss. Akshaya. S were elected as Head boy and Head girl. House captains, vice captains, sports secretary and cultural secretary their assistants were are also elected and they took charge.
