Reverence for Plant Life & Life Forms in Nature – Vruksha Vandanam & Naaga Vandanam
The event was a heartfelt tribute to nature and the unseen forces that protect and sustain life, deeply rooted in India’s spiritual traditions. As ancient texts remind us, “Nature is not outside us—it is within us,” emphasising the sacred connection between humanity and the environment. Students offered their prayers to deities, symbolising protection and harmony with the earth. Then was a reverent salutation to trees—the silent givers of life. The performances included chants, a symbolic dance representing balance in nature, and a skit conveying the importance of ecological responsibility. Conducted under the IMCTF programme, the event inspired everyone to nurture and respect all living beings, leaving a message of environmental reverence in every student.

As part of our IMCTF programme, “Aacharya Vandam – Reverence for Teachers – The Concept of Guru” was performed on the 5th of September by the students of Swamy’s School. Reverence for Teachers is seen as Reverence for Education. As education builds the nation's future, building reverence for learning through reverence for teachers is critical in contemporary times. The Indian tradition has always revered the teacher, as evident from the following verse :
Gurur brahma gurur vishnur gurur devo maheswarah
Guru sakshatpara brahma tasmai shri gurave namah
The students performed Padha Pooja with piety and reverence for their gurus and sought their blessings.
