Swamy’s Group of Schools recently organised a samskara event with the theme of “Bhoomi Vandanam” which means to revere Mother Earth as the symbol of the Environment. In Hindu culture, Mother Earth is looked upon as a goddess. The ethos of Bhoomi Vandanam serves as a timeless reminder of the sacred bond between humanity and the environment. The reverence for the Earth is not limited to its material offerings but extends to the recognition of its intrinsic value and spiritual significance. The event was conducted in association with IMCTF, and the students offered flowers, recited slokas, and displayed thematic posters to commemorate the Earth’s significance.
