Grandparents' Day Celebrations
The first-ever Grandparents’ Day celebrations for the grandparents of kindergarten students were overwhelming and heartwarming. Spread over three days on the 6th, 7th & 14th December, the event was organised separately for PKG, LKG, and UKG. The tiny tots began the celebrations with a soulful prayer song and a delightful welcome dance to nostalgic tunes. One of the highlights was the Padha Pooja, where children performed a traditional ritual to honour their grandparents. This gesture was deeply appreciated, with many grandparents expressing that such traditions are rarely seen today.
The event was filled with fun activities, including games and a charming ramp walk, where grandparents walked hand in hand with their grandchildren, evoking cherished memories of the past.
Grandparents were thrilled that the school had dedicated a special day for them. They shared their joy and gratitude, expressing how meaningful and unforgettable the celebration was. The day concluded with an open dance floor where children and grandparents danced enthusiastically, adding to the merriment.
The event left a lasting impression, with many grandparents thanking the school and teachers for recognising and celebrating their invaluable role in their grandchildren's lives. It was truly a memorable day for everyone involved.
