A group of Scouts & Guides students visited the "En Nadu En Desam Trust" Old Age Home, bringing joy and energy to the inmates. The students entertained the elderly with lively performances, creating a cheerful and engaging atmosphere. The inmates were overjoyed by the visit and even joined in the fun, dancing alongside the students. Provisions were distributed, and financial support was extended by the school to support the home.

This heartwarming experience fostered a strong sense of connection and mutual happiness. Students engaged in heartfelt conversations with the elderly, gaining a deeper understanding of compassion, empathy, and social responsibility. Our Kindergarten Project Day was a vibrant and joyous event, made even more special by the involvement of our parents. The opening ceremony, marked by a ribbon-cutting, symbolised the beginning of a day filled with exploration and wonder.

Each young learner was assigned a unique topic and took centre stage with their creative and thoughtful projects. From colourful displays to confident explanations, our little stars amazed everyone with curiosity and knowledge.

Winning Edge Programme

Our school in association with YI Thalir (Young Indians Organisation) organised a series of motivational sessions for Class XI students, conducted in three batches. The first session on 16th November was followed by insightful sessions on 3rd, 10th, and 17th December. Each session, spanning three hours, was designed in an experiential learning format to:

• Foster an "I CAN" and "WE CAN" attitude

• Encourage students to dream big and chase their aspirations

• Help students identify and harness their unique strengths

• Cultivate effective time management and communication skills

• Empower them to overcome fears and embrace challenges

These interactive sessions, led by dynamic mentors Ms. Sindhu Menon and Mr. S. Karthikeyan, emphasised learning through sharing and appreciating diverse perspectives. The students expressed profound gratitude for the programme, acknowledging its significant impact on their personal and academic growth.

The programme concluded with a Valedictory Ceremony on 17th December, graced by Chief Guest Dr. K. Dhanasekhar. He shared an inspiring account of his career journey, leaving the students motivated and hopeful. Certificates were presented to all participants, for their active involvement and growth through this transformative experience.

Grandparents' Day Celebrations

The first-ever Grandparents’ Day celebrations for the grandparents of kindergarten students were overwhelming and heartwarming. Spread over three days on the 6th, 7th & 14th December, the event was organised separately for PKG, LKG, and UKG. The tiny tots began the celebrations with a soulful prayer song and a delightful welcome dance to nostalgic tunes. One of the highlights was the Padha Pooja, where children performed a traditional ritual to honour their grandparents. This gesture was deeply appreciated, with many grandparents expressing that such traditions are rarely seen today.

The event was filled with fun activities, including games and a charming ramp walk, where grandparents walked hand in hand with their grandchildren, evoking cherished memories of the past.

Grandparents were thrilled that the school had dedicated a special day for them. They shared their joy and gratitude, expressing how meaningful and unforgettable the celebration was. The day concluded with an open dance floor where children and grandparents danced enthusiastically, adding to the merriment.
